Team Building and Leadership Skills

Introduction

No one person is responsible for achieving the operational objectives OF any small OR large organization. The most effective and efficient organizations rely on the success of their teams to deliver the results. In his book Good to Great, Jim Collins makes the case that “your people are not your greatest asset. Having the right people is your greatest asset.”
The right people make up the best performing teams. However, developing and leading teams requires a skill which many managers fail to grasp. Emotional Intelligence plays an important role in this, and there are steps and procedures which will significantly increase the success of any team.
