Autism Friend Support Group

Mission
The Autism Friend Support Group’s mission is to aid families who need assistance in caring for their children with autism, help them understand, cope, manage and fund autistic children education, and serve as a communication center for new parents. The group should help in introducing new programs and services developed for individuals with autism.

Goals
- Promote awareness.
- Support families affected by autism spectrum disorders.
- Communicate with organizations that provide direct services.,
- Family training and education with the purpose of improving the quality of life for individuals with autism and their families.

Family Assistance
Our goal is to actively assist children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder and their families through direct family support, safety equipment, respite services, recreational programs, social skills training, and other opportunities that will enhance the quality of life for those affected.

Education and Advocacy:
CEIMC provides access to education and advocacy programs for all individuals within the Autism Spectrum, community awareness initiatives, and educational opportunities that provide practical experience for family members and professionals working in the field of autism.

The Resource and Material Library:
CEIMC's library will provide parents with additional access to educational books and articles on autism, The library will also promote donations from toy shops and bookshops to help establish a greater library of children's books with interactive material to be used by the child in order to promote speech and social skills. Educational material and reinforcement toys that may be needed for further home therapy will also be included in the library.
