We are a chain of well-established private medical centres that are leading providers of the child early intervention services in the Middle East.  Our services include different types of intervention and therapies for a wide range of childhood developmental and psychological problems, including anxiety, depression, addictions, social and interpersonal problems, behavioral problems, learning disabilities, communication disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. 

We are the organisers of several international events, one of which is the highly-recognized and awarded Autism Around the World Conference for the Middle East, drawing international audiences and distinguished speakers for over 5 years.

The demand for our services is constantly expanding and therefore we currently require a full-time MA-qualified Speech and Language Therapist or MA-qualified Speech and Language Pathologist.  The Centre offers a very competitive package for the right candidate, inclusive of relocation assistance, transportation and housing allowance, private medical benefits, annual round-trip air fare and VIP access to many fantastic attractions that the privileged Dubai lifestyle offers.

The successful candidate shall be located in our exquisite Healthcare City Centre that is based in a prestigious, five-star location in Dubai and offers state of the art professional equipment and a carefully selected workforce of over a hundred relevantly qualified professionals. 

The successful candidate shall perform general clinical speech and language therapy services, the scope of which may include, but not be limited to:

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Perform relevant and necessary speech and language assessments and evaluations and write corresponding reports.

• Design and implement structured and individualized treatment speech programs to teach children with autism.

• Collect data and maintain documentation pertaining to each child’s program.

• Provide ongoing guidance within each client’s individual program, ensuring each client’s continued progress towards realizing their maximum potential

• Communicate questions, child’s progress, or other feedback to parents, Clinical ABA Supervisors, Case Manager and ABA therapists.

• Review behavior management techniques to ensure consistency in therapy, while at the same time reducing the occurrence of maladaptive behaviors.

• Participate in clinic meetings, workshops, and training seminars as necessary.

• Educate and train ABA Therapists in speech techniques utilized for each child, in order to ensure consistency of interventions.

• Provide ongoing guidance to ABA therapists regarding instructional techniques for speech development and individual client needs.

• Write progress reports to secure funding from insurance agencies using sound speech and language terminology.

• Write school observation reports highlighting the child’s strengths and areas of need, as well as recommendations for school staff, for the school and the child’s family.

• Assist in answering questions using a professional tone.

• Assist with other administrative tasks when necessary.

• Represent CEIMC professionally and ethically.

• Maintain accurate and timely records including timesheets and reports.

• Responsible to carry out work with the highest professional ethical standards and sensitivity to multicultural differences.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree required in Speech and Language Pathology / Therapy from recognized Western or Arabic University.

• At least 3 years prior experience providing Speech and Language Therapy with at least 2 years of experience of providing Speech and Language Therapy to children.

• A minimum of 2 years commitment is required from all applicants as well as qualified child experience. Specialized training with autism is preferred.

• Valid licensure in home country, equivalent to a MA level Speech and Language pathologist is necessary for Dubai licensure application process.

• Strong interpersonal skills, to include diplomatically addressing difficult situations and people (clients and staff alike), providing constructive feedback to ABA therapists.

• Willing to work on Saturdays.

• Excellent English language ability.

• Arabic language is a strong advantage.
